The earlist Tarot Cards resembled playing cards in the fact that each suit within the Tarot Deck had a uniformed suit design and each individual card was identified by a further simple design, much like a playing card. This made the Tarot Cards mysterious to the untrained eye. What was the meaning of these mystique cards? What was needed was a Tarot Deck designed with an illustration, and not just any illustration, what was needed was an illustration that told the meaning of the card. This would not only make it a lot easier to give readings but also make the Tarot a lot more popular, as with the right illustrations anyone could learn to give readings. What was needed was a modern deck that everyone could use, what was needed was The Original Rider Waite Tarot Deck.
One of the most popular and widely known Tarot Decks of all time. Conceived by A.E Waite who gave his description of each card to the mystical artist Pamela Colman Smith to illustrate. First published in 1910, the Rider Waite Tarot Deck has been beautifully reproduced for the modern Tarot Card reader. The full deck, all 78 cards from the original deck, including all the wonderful illustrations by the artist Pamela Colman Smith have been reproduced. Each deck comes complete with a 30 page instruction booklet giving full details of each card and a brief description on the art of Tarot Card Divination, you'll soon be giving friends, loved ones or even yourself fasinating readings.
